The Pediatric Cancer Club of Briarcliff Manor
The Pediatric Cancer Club of Briarcliff Manor was founded in 2010 by Jordana M. Cohen. The club was created to support children battling with cancer and raise awareness for the disease. Over the past few years, this club has developed a program that delivers “TLC” (Tender Loving Care) boxes (full of arts supplies and activities) to the pediatric cancer patients at various local hospitals. The club has also accomplished hosting several fundraisers. So far, it has raised over $40,000 for pediatric cancer research through such events.
This year the club is hoping to expand fundraising efforts by hosting a new type of fundraiser, a Mud Run. This event is open to all. We hope to see you and your families there on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Purchase College for the first annual Pediatric Cancer Mud Run event.
